Penketh High School has developed a fantastic programme of activities which are designed to reflect the diverse interests of the pupil body. The main objective of the enrichment programme is simple: to ensure all pupils are able to access and experience a wide range of activities, including those they may not ordinarily have the opportunity to access outside of school.
The enrichment activities have become an important and exciting feature of school life. The decision was taken to include enrichment in the school day so all pupils have the opportunity to attend and ensure pupils also are provided opportunities to gain experiences to help them to improve their own personal skillset linked to the Dual Curriculum. Pupils have access to two different clubs a week for 45minutes.
Both Teaching and Support staff at Penketh have developed an extensive range of clubs to attend weekly, which includes Duke of Edinburgh, Wool Craft, Chess Club, Debate Club, Coding and a range of sporting and performing arts activities.
