How to use a revision timetable effectively
My number 1 tip for you as a family is to draft a revision timetable each week – Sunday night is best for the week ahead. If you do it weekly it is always current and has real commitments and events on there.
Build in all your hobbies (including time to watch Netflix or have an hour on your phone or Xbox etc.) even put in times you are going to eat. Then build your 45 minute sessions around these things.
Revision doesn’t mean putting your life on hold, it means organising your life more effectively.
I have included a version I completed this Year with a Year 11 student who was struggling to fit everything in as he was committed to 16 hours of Rugby back in January. This really helped him structure his time.
